When I transitioned into Dear Soul Candle Co. from my previous candle business, I knew I wanted to continue my practice of giving back to a community that matters to me.  As a new mother, I quickly realized how challenging it can be to bring a new life into the world, even with a solid support system.  With that in mind, I felt called to help other expectant mothers who perhaps don't have the same type of support system I did/do.

After searching for an organization to support — one that aligns with my beliefs and mission — I came across St. Clare's Home.  Once I realized it is a local non-profit which my church parish supports, I knew it was meant to be.

The St. Clare's Home mission — to walk alongside expectant mothers in their most vulnerable moments, offering not just shelter but dignity, education, and hope — reflects everything Dear Soul stands for. In a world that often moves too fast to notice those who are struggling, St. Clare's slows down and says: you matter, and we are here.  That is the exact sort of mission I want to stand behind.

I chose to support St. Clare's Home because I believe every life deserves to be welcomed into this world with love, and every mother deserves to feel supported, and not alone.
